Its not in the code book, were you have to pull a separate neutral for each circuit. Who made this rule up, there making us pull a separate neutral for each circuit. Its not in the code book

wellll... unless you have ties on all breakers serving a common neutral,
opening them all, you can't share a neutral.

so, put breaker ties on the breakers, and then you are good to go.
i've had to do that for the last four years on the left coast.

210.4(B). requires a simultaneous disconnect of each ungrounded conductor of a multi wire branch circuit. The worst code change to come about in my lifetime. I hate it so much it one of the very few code references I know by heart. Because of it a ton of new specs call for individual neutrals.

Isn't it cheaper to just pull the separate neutrals instead of the breaker ties and what section does it say to pull separate neutrals for each circuit

There is no section that says you have to pull separate neutrals. You are still allowed to use three hots and one neutral, you just can't wire them up to single pole breakers like we used to be able to.

I don't think it is cheaper to pull separate neutrals. A three pole breaker is a lot cheaper than a spool of THHN.

Sure, but don't forget about pipe fill, number of current carrying conductors and how it effects derating...things that used to not matter become a big deal if aren't careful.

T A three pole breaker is a lot cheaper than a spool of THHN.

And three single poles with a handle tie may even be less $.

Yes, the code permits that, but very often the job specs require a neutral for each ungrounded conductor.
