I have a service panel with 5 breakers that feed 5 disconnects that each feed 3 panels.
What is a good sequence of labels.
I had tried to come up with something not complicated and confusing but didn't do so well.

MDP and PD-x and LPx-y or PPx-y, where x is the numbers 1 through 5 for disconnects, and y is 1 through 3 for the panels.

Just a suggestion.

why do you have 5 breakers that feed five disconnects? seems somewhat redundant.

All the disconnects were existing and the service panel is new.
The service panel being about 200' from the disconnects.

What does LP PP etc. Stand for?
Im use to HV high volt and LV and low volt.
I was backwards.
I had A -E as disconnects and 1-3 as panels.
Its was not well liked. I did make a chart for each disc that told what everything was.
Thanks.

Lighting Panel, Power Panel, Main Distribution Panel...

Those are fine for places where qualified people service them most of the time, for places where owner/occupant will be in there more often giving them a name that makes sense to the user is likely a better deal. Or you can still call them LP, PP, etc, but also give a better legend of what those things mean then what I typically have seen. Smaller occupancy - often one panel is Lighting, power, and main distribution, if there are remote panels they just feed an area and not specifically lighting or specifically power.
