emt/rmc transition

is there some code legal way to make this transition?

our local supply house says "everyone" uses an EMT connector threaded into a RMC coupling.

I do use conduit couplings to make them up but if I had a bunch to do listed changeovers are available.

Just noticed the links I provided were specifically 1/2" but other sizes are available and in the biggest sizes a standard coupling is often listed for both.

1/2", 3/4" and 1" should all be easily obtained as it is common for electricians to come up out of a slab with rigid and immediately change over to EMT.
