Hi;

I am designing a new commercial space from an existing. They have told me I can use the existing Electrical Equipment which is to be abandoned by the previous tenant. They previously had all the Mechanical on a panel fed from an ATS. We don't necessarily want that. If I show a one-line with all the equipment essentially 'new' (because I am re-using, but renaming- and will note as such), what are the implications of not putting that ATS in the loop? I hope this doesn't seem too confusing, because I am a little confused myself. Thanks for any help!

People who draw plans make it so hard sometimes. Simply show that the ATS is being removed as well as the line that feeds it and then show the rest as existing (E). So basically show a demo plan and then a plan on how things are to be fed now.

Get a photo of what presently exists. Mark all equipment that will be removed.

Then draw a plan of what it will be when complete, marking all existing-to-remain equipment as existing. Use a gray shade if practical, to identify existing-to-remain equipment.
