Heater Overloads

On the attached Heater Overload Chart I cant find any info on what the various columns A,B,C etc stand for, any explanation appreciated.

Typically, it's on the previous page in a catalog. That's one of the pitfalls of people having just scanned in printed pages as on-line resources, they leave out critical info.

In many cases, the different tables mean different enclosure styles. You really need to see if you can find that first page. The columns however might also refer to dial adjustment settings that you use when the amp rating you need falls in between the heater element sizes. I think Cutler - Hammer OL relays were like that.

In this case however, it appears these are for GE NEMA heaters. In their case, the columns are related to the enclosure rating. Here is the entire thing.

Different enclosures and/or number of thermal elements in the application.
