Can fully welded, square, 1 inch, steel tubing be used as an
atypical raceway, for installing conductors to a Wall Sconce ?
There will be xx number of 90 degree turns.

Please provide Articles for or against.....Either from the `08,
...`11, or the `14 NEC.

Thanks !

ARTICLE 310
Conductors for General Wiring

I. General
310.1 Scope.
This article covers general requirements for
conductors and their type designations, insulations, markings,
mechanical strengths, ampacity ratings, and uses. These requirements
do not apply to conductors that form an integral
part of equipment, such as motors, motor controllers, and
similar equipment, or to conductors specifically provided for
elsewhere in this Code.

Installation

310.10 Uses Permitted.
The conductors described in
310.104 shall be permitted for use in any of the wiring
methods covered in Chapter 3 and as specified in their
respective tables or as permitted elsewhere in this Code.

You could snake a cable through tubing but not single conductors.

Thanks all for the replies !

I will respond later when I have the time, but I DID see the definition
of a wireway..........That's a definite possibility.
