Grounding a metal building

I'm wiring a 100ft by 50ft metal building that half of it is house and the rest is a shop. Besides the two ground rods at the service, what does nec say about the grounding of the red iron of the building structure.

If it qualifies as an electrode you must use it as one.

If it does not qualify as an electrode you still must bond it to the EGC.

Wood shop?
Muscle cars?
What's he going to have in there?

He builds race cars and has an ac buisness. How do determine if it qualifies as an electrode? Is there some sizing calculations to determine size of grounding the red iron to the EGC
