Using my finely calibrated Mark I optical receptor, it looks like the far side of the nut is faint to blood red (930 - 1075F), while the near side has a point concentration that varies from dark orange to medium cherry (1630 - 1175F) radiating outwards. Was this just a loose nut or is something far more interesting going on elsewhere?

Well, there's the problem--- too much heat, just get rid of the extra heat and it'll be fine---We actually had a co worker tell us that and he was serious!!!

Just need an AFCI breaker to fix that glowing connection.
Pretty crazy i came across this not to long ago the cover for the disconnect was so hot u couldnt even touch it
