Under cabinet kitchen receptacles

Have a customer who does not want to have any countertop receptacles in the tile backsplash.

Can anyone recommend a good product for this application.

They also do not want to see the device hanging down from under the upper cabinet .

I have found both strip type and individual box type .

Suggestions from those who have found a good product to use would be appreciated.
 
No matter what you will see something regardless. But like you said either shallow wire mold boxes or plug mold.
 
They make pop up receptacles that go into the counter top but that, IMO is nuts. Lutron has many colors so you may be able to match the tile.

Your customer doesn't want it in the tile and doesn't want to see a cord hanging down from the upper cabinets so there is no option other than the pop ups. I doubt she would want the receptacles in the face of the cabinet and depending on code it may not be compliant.

Yes, still see them when the countertop is empty. But if cords hanging from underneath the uppers are an issue, that means something is sitting there plugged in. And would likely hide low receptacles.

That's why I think it's kind of in between
