I found this at another forum. Home depot is selling 50' 10/2 nm for $68 while the other brands are $170.

One thing I noticed is that it says wet and dry location--uh huh

Also the conductors are stranded except the equipment grounding conductor..... UL listed Something is wrong

I personally would not touch "Chinese" NM cable if you gave it to me for free. I never buy small rolls of NM cable, always 250' or 1000' from supply house. The price of the 10/2 NM cable in this thread is higher than what I pay my supply house per foot for a 250' roll.

I'll stick with Cerro, Encore, Southwire and even CME (Mexican) over China.

Seems like no matter what the size is its a yellow jacket.

I don't judge a book by its cover if its a good product I'll use it, and I have always wondered why they dont make stranded 10/2 NM.
I used to be a die hard buy American, union made American truck guy until the mid 2000's when I noticed all my pals 15yo Toyota trucks from the 90's were running fine as well as my wife's civic and I had replaced a transmission and dozens of repairs.. Since then I say let the best product win, truck or a roll of wire regardless.

Lowes sells Southwire 250' for $293 which is 1.17 a foor which is cheaper than a 50' roll but this is equivalent to UF. I never bought a 50' roll either. I wouldn't buy it either but the use of stranded wire is an interesting idea.

I was in HD yesterday. 250' of 12/2 was $146

14/2 was $109
HD prices for wire and almost everything else is very high. The used to be more competitive for 14/2 and 12/2 NM but the last few years they decided to increase their profits substantially. Or may its what they need to charge to cover their losses.
