Does 230.71(A) also apply to Mobile Homes and Manufactured Homes?

Also, can someone explain the difference between Mobile and Manufactured in simple terms that even I could understand. :D

Thanks

Re: Service Equip/Mobile/Manufactured

Follow the requirements of Article 550. Section 550.2 provides a definition of both mobile home and manufactured home. :)

Re: Service Equip/Mobile/Manufactured

Before june 15 1976 it was a mobile home after it is a manufactured home.
This is strait from www.hud.com
HUD: Manufactured homes fact sheet

Question: What is a manufactured home?

Answer: A manufactured home (formerly known as a mobile home) is built to the Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards (HUD Code) and displays a red certification label on the exterior of each transportable section. Manufactured homes are built in the controlled environment of a manufacturing plant and are transported in one or more sections on a permanent chassis.

II. HUD Manufactured Home Construction Standards
Manufactured homes are built as dwelling units of at least 320 square feet in size with a permanent chassis to assure the initial and continued transportability of the home. All transportable sections of manufactured homes built in the U.S. after June 15, 1976, must contain a red label. The label is the manufacturer's certification that the home section is built in accordance with HUD's construction and safety standards. HUD standards cover Body and Frame Requirements, Thermal Protection, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Safety and other aspects of the home. They are published in the Code of Federal Regulations at 24 CFR 3280.

Wouldn't 550.32(B)(2) imply that the six disconnect rule is applicable?
