I read somewhere a while back that a manufacturer of 1 1/4 connectors listed their product for multiple Romex connectors. Instead of three 3/8 connectors one would use an 1 1/4 connector with multiple romex.
Does this ring a bell to anyone?

That might be the case, but then d-rating might kick into play (since it apparently does when more than 2 romex's go through 1 drilled hole).

I don't believe derating would apply as this is not a drilled hole with caulking. I have heard there is a manufacturer that makes a connector for multiple nm cables. I believe the cables may all need to be the same size.

The list needs updating, what can I do with 12/3 or 14/3 that you are seeing more of in a flat type cable?

None of the connectors mention 12-2-2 or similar cable - guess we can use them but can not terminate them:roll:
