For a 1200 sq ft new house, I would always install a 200 amp service if they are using a heat pump for heating. But when I do calculations for existing small houses like this, it seems that 100 amps is borderline, but might work. Asuming all electric. What do you do?
Thank you

The heat pump is not the issue so much as the heat strips. Without other info it is impossible to know whether a 100 amp service will work. There is also a 125 amp service that may suit your fancy
