I have a 100A 3W 4P cannon style plug and receptacle (Killark #VR1042E5) that we are being asked to mount so that it points straight out from the back-box (parallel to the floor). There are 2 different mating back-boxes available for this receptacle and both come with an angle adapter to mount the receptacle to so that it points down at a 45 degree angle. Both the 30A and 60A receptacles give the option for mounting straight out from the back-box, but not the 100A. I have a call into Killark, just curious if anyone on here knows why they don't offer that on the 100A unit.

Is it because of the stress the weight of the plug and cord would put on the receptacle or just a UL thing???
