I have a old house that has 2 wires to receps and no grounds. Someone put 3 prong receps in and I told the owner of the rental it was not correct, he wants me to correct the problem.
My question is--I know I can put a gfci recep at the first recep, but the boxes are way to small, plus the circuit splits out of a light fixture to other rooms and receps. So I what to put gfci breakers in, but I don't know if I am required to use arc fault for the bedrooms. The bedroom circuits also feed livingroom and some kitchen receps on the far wall and the lights. Only 5 20 amp circuits in this house, very small.
Is it O.K. to use gfci breakers or should I use arc fault?
Thanks for any help.
