a customer has a motor they want wired. The name plate DAEWOO motor to CNC machine

3phase 200/220v
53.9kva
30 kw
139.9 a full current amps
33000 interruption capacity

Do I still use the 30kw or the 53.9 kva to size wire and and breaker ?

I'd use the kVA.
But what di I know......

Read Article 430 of NFPA 70

30kW / .746 (kW per HP) = 40.2HP, I would use 40HP per the NEC tables for conductor sizing. But that comes out to a LOT less than the stated FLA. So use the FLA x 1.25 to size the conductors.
