Hi all
I'm in the process at looking for an ATS to mate up to my 100KW 120/240 3 phase genset for my new building and found a real good deal on a 300 amp ATS. However, it is rated at 120/208. I've not yet tapped into utilities and am assuming it will be transformed to a three phase four wire delta. If so, could this ATS work?

First you mentioned new building so you must confirm some things.

Is utility supply 120/240 three phase or 208/120 three phase? Answer to this may end up meaning your generator isn't really all that compatible with your needs as it would put a 208 volts to ground voltage on one of the phases when connected to generator when that phase only runs 120 volts when on the utility.

If you have 120/240 three phase from utility then you match with generator voltage and this just becomes a question if the 208/120 ATS is usable on this system. In that case it may or may not work depending on how it is designed.
