I know this pretty simple but I'm on my first coffee. In grouping snap switches they must be arranged so that the voltage between them does not exceed 300 volts. Would a 220v switch and a 120v switch in same ganged box exceed 300 volts. Or does this mean two different electrical systems ( one from one panel and the other from other LP panel.

If they are from different systems it is possible they could have more than 300 volts between systems. If it is a 240 volt circuit and a 120 volt circuit from the same (120/240 volt) source they will never have more than 240 volts between them.
