    Video doorbell power wiring

Looking into video doorbells, most have a 16-24VAC requirement. Builder has run CAT5e to doorbell. Does this need to be replaced with 18/2 doorbell cable before installing a video doorbell or will the CAT5e support the voltage input without issues?
