What is the “actual outside dimension” of a bathtub in article 410.10(D)? Most sections of the NEC measure from the water’s edge. Is the actual outside dimension different from than unactual outside dimension? If the bathtub has 12" of tile along the edge, where is the “actual outside dimension” measured from?

The actual dimension is the outside walls of the tub itself. The tile is outside the tub
