What's the best for a pool pump ? SJTW or SJOW. I've seen it both ways around here.
Most of the work motor work is done by a pool company after the outlets and bonding wire drop is installed.

I use nonmetallic liquid tight and THWN conductors.

Never used SO. old ones did use it but they used a twist lock when they didn't need GFI by code so cord made sense.

J is light duty. SOW is a step up.
