1/2" Romex Staples used with MC Cable

Has any one had a problem with useing rx staples with mc cable, On the bag of staples i have it also states uf cable and " other cables up to 1/2". I believe mc cable should be ok. I would like to Know what you would use with wood construction. thank you.

I usually use 1 hole or 2 hole straps of appropriate size. They cost a bit more than staples.
