Hi
i am undergoing inspection by our local Electrical Engineering department but i am being told that i would require 1 transformer per pool light. I am using Led lighting and each at about 23W per lamp and there are 2 lamps per pool, both of these are connect in parallel to a 12V-PX100W Intermatic swimming pool/ spa transformer.
Section 680.23 (1),(2) specifies gfci & types of transformer but does not clearly indicate the restriction of # of lamps per transformer (obviously over loading will not be accepted).
Can you advise if this is contradicting the NECs intention?
regards
ds
