Should I be surprised to see a QO 100 amp 32 space/circuit panel sitting on our shelf today? I never knew it existed. Most of the other 100 amp panels are typically 8 space/16 circuit. My question is would you choose this panel over the smaller ones in most situations or not.

the 2008 code eliminated the set number of spots in panels. only place where its still 42 circuits is split bus panels but i dont think anyone makes those anymore. so maybe manufacturers are making thier smaller panels a little bigger and selling them for twice the price:)

I started installing these panels the day I could get them. I'm not sure exactly when that was, but maybe about 5 years now. I haven't installed a 20 space panel since.

We stopped using the 100A 20 space panels 7 or 8 years ago and have been using the CH 30 space 100A loadcenters.
