1000 amp 277/480 CTC and switch board in a commercial kitchen

I have a installation for a 1000 Amp 277/480 Main breaker CTC cabinet and switch board in a commercial Kitchen feeding a 150 KVA transformer 480/120/208 and a 400 amp main breaker Panel. My question is should it be 3r rated and would there be a additional clearances from service equipment to the kitchen equipment IE: Dish washer, sink. Common sense tells me Yes but can't find the code article. Table 110.26 (a) (1) Condition 2 3 feet 6 inch

The code does not require anything other than the space rules in 110.26. The rest is a design issue, not a code issue.
