I put my ground rod 10' away from main panel do to decking. Inspecter said it was to far I looked in the code book I can't find anything in the code that would make this installation not code compliant thanks

ask him where this restriction is found in the code?

Too far from what did he specify? It can go wherever you want, even 100' away and the GEC does not need to be buried to a depth in T300.5 either.
