Hi. I want to build a 10kVA transformer. Can someone point me to resources that will help me solve the sizes of cores, shapes, winding choices, regulations and for a selection of operating temperatures i.e. dry and coolant options?

Talk about a DIY thread that I don't think should be locked!

Welcome to the forum.

I would think you should be able to find a lot of information on the internet.

Look for terms like transformer theory, design, construction, etc.

Hi, thanks. I'm well versed in the physics, but not so much the practical regarding operating temperatures and how that impacts windings sizing and core sizing and design. Formula that would help me determine choices for an E or C shaped cores would be useful. Was especially hoping for regulatory info too.

It is not practical to design and build your own transformer. The best place to look would be in textbooks. I last did one as a senior project.

This is an NEC forum, the NEC is a installation standard, not for DIYers, and what you are asking is something we can't help with.
For what you spend on materials for a one of, you can buy a transformer that is safe, and the key is safe. Plus you voltages and standards are different.
When you get it done and you have let the smoke out, please post a picture.
