110.14 c) Applied to single conductors in trays

If I have an single conductor in a tray, when selecting it by terminals based on UL, how do I select with 310.15(b)(17) or 310.15(b)(16)?

Unless the terminal is marked for other than 310.15(B)(16) ampacities, you are limited to those ampacities.

Unless the equipment is listed and marked otherwise, conductor ampacities used in determining equipment termination provisions shall be based on Table 310.15(B)(16) as appropriately modified by 310.15(B)(7).

The (B)(7) reference is to the reduced wire size permitted for dwelling unit service conductors.
