Residential you can put as many as you can carry in a pick up truck.

If you go back to my post, I was editing while you were answering "residential" you will see a link to a thread you might find amusing.

As far as residential there is no limit.

yes in residential there is no limit but common scence does dictate some parameters

It may be one of those trick questions to see if we notice the 115v vs. the normal 120v. Let's see if you can put truckload of receptacles on a 115v circuit, how many truckloads can you put on a 120v circuit? :)
