I have a 12 volt track lighting system with a LET 301 transformer. There are 5- 50 watt halogens on the track. I tested the transformer and it is ok. The lights test ok individually. When I put the fixtures on the track they don't work. How can I troubleshoot?

Sounds like the connection to the track is not tight. With low voltage fixtures you usually have to make the connection very tight. What brand track is it?

Wrong fittings for track, not making proper contact
Transformer overloaded and shutting down.
Faulty transformer, although it has been tested, try it on actual load.
If it has previously worked, but does not now, burnt connections at input to track.

I doubt that undersized or overlong wire between transformer and track would stop the lights working at all, though they might be very dim.
