We wired a pier with 120v & 240v receptacles & made provisions for a dozen lighting outlets on various pylons along the pier. All the piping is in one run of PVC to all the j-boxes. All the wiring has been pulled based on the home owners decision on 120v lighting. My question, now that the owner has found low voltage lighting for the pier is there a problem with both 12v & 240v in the same conduit?

It depends on the class of the 12 volt wiring.

Class 1 can be mixed with the 240, class 2 or class 3 cannot be mixed.

Two things you should beaware of. The distance of the 12 volt wiring, you may need to increase wire size and make sure all conductors are rated 600 volt insulation. Aswell as the class and Group of wiring installation to be performed.
