120/208V 3 Phase panel to feed 380V 12kW equipment

Hi Guys,

I design one project that we use 120/208V 3 phase service. But our client prefer to use one 380V 12kW equipment.

Could we use this panel to feed this 380V equipment?

If so, what is the breaker size for this equipment?

12000*1.25/(1.732*208)=41.6Amps. Should I use 50 Amps breaker for this equipment?

Um, I am pretty sure that if you supply 208V to 380V rated equipment bad things are likely to happen.

Are you planning to install a transformer?

It will probably work. Not to code though as the voltage applied exceeds the panel board rating.
