Hello all,

I had a code question regarding phase colors in light fixtures. Are we required to rephase wires in light fixtures for 270v most factory installed wire is black and white was just trying to see if it needs to be reidentified and what code it is.

No The driver manufacturers are permitted to use black ungrounded conductors for 277 volts. Those conductors do not fall under the NEC.
