Thanks. That's the reference I was looking for, however, in the 2011 Handbook, I see something strange. There is an exception to the article that applies only to PV systems with batteries (capable of running standalone), but the handbook's explanation of the exception doesn't mention the standalone capabilities of the inverter, which is at the heart of the exception. Inverters with batteries can supply current on demand where GT inverters cannot.
