Welcome to the forum.

Are you asking about a cover that will close over a GFCI-equipped plug?

I'd need to see a pic or two of the plug.

You mean like this?

The issue may be between the cord and the position of the cord cut-out. Some are in the base and some are in the cover.

Maybe this type of plug?

I thank you, i am checking on a Caldera spas 39453 gfci housing cover, to see if i need a certain box so the single
receptacle will be at the top.

I know I have seen such a critter before, and I think you maybe need to look at spa equipment dealers to have best luck finding such a thing.

No, look at the specs. It's like a clock receptacle. The receptacle in the cover is centered on the single gang box when you mount the cover to it. The remaining bottom part of the cover just extends down past the box.

Pretty sure that is what I have seen before. And in that case that is what the spa dealer supplied. Kind of redundant in a way, but I didn't see I had any choice but to use a GFCI (breaker in my case) ahead of that receptacle.
