1200 amp main 120/208 3 phase

I believe per 230.95 I do not need a 1200amp 120/208v main disconnect with ground fault protection. Being as voltage is 120v per phase to ground.
Am I missing something here? I received some conflicting feedback.

I believe you're correct.

Thank you I thought I perhaps missed an exception been wrong before many times.

And where that rule does apply It starts at "1000 amps or more", not to be confused with thinking that it starts at "more than 1000 amps".

You're correct it is not required because you're voltage to ground does not exceed 150 volts. If you have a 480Y/277 volt system the voltage to ground would exceed 150 volts.
