D D-Nice Member Jul 28, 2009 #3 When I remove the bulb and put a meter to the contacts it reads roughly 60 volts on each flood. I thought I should read 120 volts.

masterinbama Senior Member Location Huntsville Alabama Jul 28, 2009 #7 Is this a quartz Halogen fixture, and are you using a digital meter. Some of the quartz floods have lamp contacts that disconnect from the source when you take the lamp out. You might be getting phantom voltage.
