Is #14 awg wire allowed in a commercial building? I can't find in the nec that you can't. Altho I thought this was not allowed.

310.5 is one location that tells you the minimum size conductors permitted.

I agree, most of the commerical and industrial specs that I worked with had a minimum #12 requirement.
Also many of these specs also had a minimum of 3/4" EMT.
