14Awg used for lightning protection?

It seems odd to me that this would feasible — but it’s on the drawing; then I thought -
How many amps can a 14 AWG carry for the length of an average lightning strike?

It would likely vaporize from a direct strike; this sounds more like static discharge.

But It’s being shown as class II Lightning protection and is routed all over the building roofs.
The average lightning strike only lasts .2 seconds
