Installing 22kw generator
With 150 amp se rated transfer switch
In between existing panel and meter
Since this unit is between meter and panel now Do i need to split neutrals and grounds in panel, and remove green ground screw add ground bars
and move grounded electrode conductor and ground rods And reinstall grounded electrode conductor and ground rods to exterior se rated transfer switch outside

Is the transfer switch a service rated? If the transfer switch has a main breaker then yes the existing panel becomes a sub panel. I assume this is an automatic transfer switch?

If so then the connected load cannot be larger than 92 amps unless you have load shedding

There may be options available if you are on the 2020 nec

Yes SE Rated. I will have PPM modules to shed loads of higher amperage equipment.
So i would move the Grounded electrode conductor to the Main breaker portion outside. And separate grounds and neutrals in existing panel?
Also, Move the Ground rod wire?

Yes to all.
Thanks, I don't see anyone doing that. Thats why I asked. I knew the answer. But curious on what's out there being shown and not fully explained. I like to double check even though I have been doing this 3 decades.

Thanks, Taken care of. I see many instances. Where people come here and are really not electricians. I'm Seeing very large jobs going on and guess who is doing them! Not NJ people lets just say.
