Juniata Township is east of the city of Saginaw and south of Saginaw Bay, in the base of Michigan's thumb.

We have a new project about to start, supposedly 81 turbines, exact locations are not even finalized yet but they are already stockpiling components on about a 160 acre site only about 2 miles from my house.

We have a wind farm in CA that stretches for miles that power a good portion of an affluent community of Palm Springs.
This farm is just one of several located in the middle of the desert.
I've not come close to two miles to the nearest turbine while camping for the night but I can hear the hum from a distance.
I imagine it would be noticeable if you are only two miles away.

two miles away is where their "lay down yard" is. One proposed location for a tower that I am aware of is within a half mile of my house. I don't recall the rules on how far they must be from a dwelling - something like 2000 or 2500 feet.
