15kv vs 2kv load break elbows

Are these backwords compatible? In other words could I use a 25kv arrestor elbow on a15 kv class bushing?

In my experience, the 25 kV class elbows and lightning arrester elbows are physically larger to fit the female insulator socket. Thus you will not be able to fit the 25 kV elbow on a 15 kV female post.

I agree with Newton: We don't see much 5kV class, but the 15 to 25kV are definitely different sizes and not interchangeable, so my assumption is that's true for 15 to 5kV.

Actually I think 5KV and 15Kv class are the same. I couldn't find any 5kv class load break connectors. The cooper catalog has a "5kv cable adapter" to accommodate small cables, but there was no other mention of anything else 5kv...
