I need to run 15VDC wires to one of start/stop control station from VFD control power. Start/Stop control station will be outside the building. Distance between the VFD panel to start/stop control station is 150 feet. This is a temporary arrangement just for a month's time. Do i need to run a RMC conduit or can i use a PVC conduit for this temporary application.

not a code reference reply, just a common sense reply: why not go to home depot and buy 150ft of garage door 2 conductor sw #18 wire for $10 and use that? why ANY conduit?

No reason you have to run pipe at all. If the VFD output is listed class 2 you can do like Mike suggested and run bell wire.If it's not CL2 you could just string a piece of 600V tray cable or use MC if you're worried about damage.
