1P&3P Circuits

Anyone have a good link or book they could recommend that deals with these circuits and electrical wiring/equipment? Seems like a lot of stuff is "theory" and tough to conceptualize into wiring. Thanks

I ran this search:

and found the LinkedIn article to be easy to read (after clicking only the top 3) but I only read about the first 3 paragraphs. Getting sleepy ... Been up since 3am on 2 hrs sleep. Coffee wore off.
