If 2 separate buildings right next to each other are owned/maintained by the same owner, is it more common to provide 1 transformer & 1 service to both buildings (1 service to one bldg. then feed the other bldg.) or is it more common to have 2 transformers with separate service to each bldg?

Thanks

I would think it is more common to have 1 transformer with a separate service to each building.

I see it both ways quite often, or even both fed with service conductors from same source.

Some POCO may only want to supply one line to a customer premises though.

Is it the same property or two separate parcels?
