2 code questions

I am installing a lighting control system in a home, I need to know if it is ok to install the dimmer panels(UL)under a sub floor. The sub floor has no outside access and has an indoor access panel. The job is a retrofit so I cannot put the panels in the garage. Also want to see about putting a second panel in an attic space. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I would look for a location that can be accessed easier than the two selected.

I hope the lighting control does not go the way of the old touch plate system of yesterday.
