2 Generators 1 Building

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I figured I'd take a shot.

Is it possible to have 2 generators for a hospital, one feeding the life safety and critical panels and the other feeding only the equipment(hvac, pumps)? Has anyone come across something like this?

I dont see a reason why not, often those are pad mounted outdoors, see 225.30(A)
