2 Hour Rated MC Cable

Does anyone happen to know if the securing of 2 hour rated MC cable is different than what the NEC states? Thanks.

I was looking at the Draka Lifeline MC yesterday and noticed the instructions said it need to be supported every 4 feet...I'm guessing you need to see what the manufacturer's instructions state.

It will differ. You need to look at the UL white book under FHIT and find the system that matches your product. It will have a number of details that won't be in the NEC.

Thanks. And I'd also like to know if you have to use stainless steel strut and clamps. What about cable supports/chocks( like with regular wire) if it's going vertical 150-200 ft.

According to the link seems like cable supports/chocks are not necessary. I think they made a typo when they say 40'.
