Today i installed a new 200 amp service with 2 meters and 2 main breakers. Each meter socket and main breaker is rated 125 amps. I installed a 100 amp breaker and fed the main house with #4. The 2nd meter and main breaker is for a tiny little cottage located behind the house. I installed a 2 pole 15 amp breaker and installed a new feed to the existing cottage. The cottage is about 10 feet from the main house.
Both meters and main breakers are on the main house.

1. I dont think I need a ground rod and cold water bond at cottage becaue it is only 2 circuits. Inspector thinks I do.
2. Do I need a seperate disconnect/ breaker at the cottage? You can't see the cottage from the meter equipment.
3. The feed for the cottage is attached to the main house and then goes underground. Could I have run that feed through the main house?

I hope my question is clear

2 circuits or a MWBC?

Yes

With a disco for the cottage feed on the house I believe you can.
