I have a Baldor, with 2 name plates, on one motor each have the same model # and the same spec #, 1) name plate is 1 HP and the other has 1.5 HP
and the FLA are different on each one, the motor is no good and I need to replace it.

Question, under the LISTING and LABELING RULES, should I receive a free replacement from the manufacture

Thank you, for any and all information.

The only motors that are listed are those for hazardous locations. But if it’s the same motor with an incorrect label, a call to Naldor is in order.

That has nothing to do with any type of free replacement.

Is it possible that one label is 50 Hz, and the other 60Hz?
Yes, I took a second look and 1 is labeled 50 Hz and the other labeled 60Hz, I did not see that the first time, Question, why is one labeled 1 HP and the other 1.5 HP This is the first time I saw a motor with 2 name plates, and thank you for pointing that out to me, I have never been out of the US.

HP is a function of Hz
